We worked very hard with the airplane and got it loaded in the container last night and it left at 23:30 from here. Im very tired today but are going to help the other guys with the sukhoi 26 and 31. Tomorrow we are leaviing with Jeff and Maria to Bejing. Hainan is cancelled due to the thunderstorms down there. To bad I was looking forward that very much. Im trying to get a ticket leaving to Stockholm on Sunday if possible.

Time to fly
We are starting todays flying at 14:00 so Im soon heading down to the hangars. I have my slot later during the afternoon. Looking forward that. Visibilitay have increased so I think it wont be a problem.
On friday we are planed to head down to Hinan island to look on a 2nd event place. However there is a typhoon approaching so we will see if it will be possible or not.

New day
The airshow is going to its end. Tomorrow is last day and time to dissamble the airplanes again. We are heading to the breifing soon to see whats up on todays schedual. There will probely be no flying before 14:00. Yesterday we had a challange to some chinese simulator pilots in the morning flying a redbull airrace track. I would love to challange them for a real race true the real pylons we have setup on the lake. Later
Time to sleep
Today went fine and everyone had good flights. We had a great time at dinner where we where watching movie clips from all flying with onboard Gopro cameras. Time to make a half snap into bed and rest for tomorrows flying... Good night

2 more days to go..
So the opening cermony was at saturday and everyone got to fly. It was alot of fun. Sunday was similar and I saw some very good freestyle flights. The sukhoi is running very strong and my larger prop seam to pull more then the other suks on verticals.
Today we are starting at 14:00 with Castor and Juan flying formation and then after 15:00 we will fly the solo flights. Heading for the breifing in 15min. CU later.

Rehearsal day!
Today is the rehearsal day. Im going to the 10:00 breifing in a while. The first unknown is out and it looks funny. We are having some training flights betwen 11:00-11:30, then betwen 14:00 and 16:00 we have the rehearsal. Later in the efternoon we will also get a 1,5hr training slot. Im looking forward this very much. Tomorrow is the first airshow day and it will continue for 4 days. As usual they are planing for a very larger opening cermony... About 600 million people are waiting to see us fly..
Plane assambled, first test and training flights!
So me and Andrey arrived to China on Sunday to the Airsport center in Laiwu. The trip was long. The containers where running late and we got them on Monday evening. We started to to work on the airplane thuseday morning and whednesday morning the plane was ready. My new wingfixture works great for attaching the wing to the fuselage. Im very happy about that.
The fuel truck was late and today I where able to make a test flight and a 2nd training flight. Weather is great. We are total 10 pilots here from spain, france, germany, usa, uk and south africa. Everyone are flying really well.

Leaving for China
Today Im leaving for China. I have a direct flight to Beijing. When arriving there tomorrow morning I will meet up my friend and cheif mechanic Andrey arriving from Russia. Then we will get a connection flight to Jinan and there we will be picked up by car going to the airshow site in Laiwu / XuEye Lake

Aircraft in China.
The Sukhoi arrived last week to China by boat in Qingdao port. End of this week its moved by truck to the airport in Laiwu. I hope to be able to open the container on sunday and start assamble the airplane.

New aircraft!
I have got a new aircraft into my fleet. Its a 260hp Steen Skybolt. The purpose with this aircraft is to be a 2nd airplane in addition to my main aircraft the Sukhoi. With the 2-seat Skybolt I will now be able to give media rides and to undertake Airshows during the time the Sukhoi is on worldtour!

Here you can follow my airshow adventures to come. On the 17th sept Im leaving for China for the China International Air Fiesta. This is my 3d time there and Im looking forward this year very much. Also new for the year is my new aircraft, the Sukhou Su26M. Together with 8 of the worlds best aerobatic pilots I have the pleasure to fly the CIAF 2011! This year I have Andrey Bespalov as my cheif mechanic. He is a great guy and very skilled on the Sukhoi Aircraft. Stay tuned..
